One of my fitness goals for 2013 is to incorporate more cross training into my routine. It’ll make me a stronger and healthier runner, provide variety to my normal routine, and hopefully coax out the six pack I’m convinced will never appear. As of today, January 14th, I haven’t done a single lick of cross training unless you count moving around furniture and chasing after 12 muddy paws. So it’s about time I get my ass into gear!
Over the next few weeks I will be branching out and trying different forms of cross training. Some I’m very familiar with, and others I’m a total newbie. By the end of the year I hope to have established some sort of routine for myself and maybe even discover a new passion!

As I go along my merry cross training way I’ll blog about my different experiences and include interviews with the people that teach the classes. While I hope these posts help anyone else out there looking for different workouts, my main goal is to look back at them as a diary of sorts to see what worked for me and what didn’t.
